It's impossible to check the "Don't Use HID for Input" checkbox, because the game doesn't load to allow access to its preferences. I've unplugged and replugged the connections, and I've rebooted without any result. Nanosaur II is the only game available for Mac OS X which supports both anaglyph and LCD shutter glasses for a totally immersive 3D experience. Although I use a USB hub to connect scanner, iPod, and iMic, the keyboard is directly connected to the iMac. The macOS (OS X) version of this game does not work on macOS Catalina (version 10.15) or later due to the removal of support for 32-bit-only apps. ![]() Nanosaur runs on the iMac at my grandchildren's home. If that still doesn't work then try checking the "Don't Use HID for Input" checkbox. Rebooting will usually solve most HID Manager problems, so try that first. So if your keyboard is not being recognized by the game, or if certain keys don't work, or if your get various error messages, please know that these are not our fault they are problems with the HID Manager. Apple has not provided any updates to fix these problems, but some issues have been fixed in 10.3. Unfortunately, the HID Manager is very buggy when running on Mac OS 10.2. This is what games are supposed to use for doing input. On Mac OS X there is a technology called the HID Manager.
